Football in the Community

The people of Nottingham just love their football. It's no surprise, given that in Nottingham Forest and Notts County, the city boasts two of the most famous clubs in the World.

Thanks to generous funding from Angus Lawson Memorial Trust, Epic supports a football club SAS FC aimed at uniting children from the communities of St.Ann's and Sneinton. The club has teams competing in a number of age groups in local leagues and Epic is proud of the way in which these football clubs are run.

We appreciate, however, that not every child wants to join an official club. Our communities have great facilities, and we want all local children to be able to play football in safe and supervised surroundings. Epic supports individual schools, and the community, by providing after-schools football sessions that are open for all to enjoy. The sessions are free-of-charge so mums have one less thing to worry about, and run by qualified sports coaches, who are happy to teach the children their Brazilian-style skills! The provision is run at various venues around the community, and the children are guaranteed to have a great time!
