General Data Protection Regulation 2018: How we use your information
Epic Partners holds personal information relating to our service-users. We use this personal data to:
- • be able to contact you in case of an emergency or safeguarding incident;
- • track participation in our programmes for both our organisation, and for our funders;
- • inform you of programmes that we plan to run in the future;
- • assess the quality of our services.
This information will include your/your child’s contact details, attendance information, personal characteristics such as date of birth and ethnic group, any special educational needs they may have as well as relevant medical information.
Epic will retain your information as long as you/your child continue(s) to participate in our programmes. However, Epic will take steps to contact you every 12 months to verify that the data that we hold on you/your child is correct.
We will not pass on information about our service-users to anyone without your consent unless the law and our policies allow us to do so.
You have the right to request a copy of the information about you/your child that Epic hold, and to request that it be changed or deleted.
