An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly skilled Sports Coach to join a local dynamic and passionate charity that delivers high quality services assisting some of the most vulnerable people within our society.
We are forward-thinking and embarking on a path of growth and development, and this is an interesting and challenging role which has responsibility for ensuring high standards of children's and young peoples sports coaching is delivered across a varied portfolio of activities at a time of expansion.
We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and motivated individuals with relevant experience within a schools or community sports coaching setting, with a confident approach to working with children and young people.
EPIC Partners is a well-established grassroots charity with a small team of Sports Coaching specialists that possess a diverse set of skills in sports programme facilitation and mentoring services. Our staff are drawn from a variety of backgrounds, but we have one common purpose, to enrich the lives of the communities we serve that ensures all participants get an enjoyable and high-quality experience.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Assist in the delivery of high quality, safe and inclusive activity sessions alongside Epic staff, assistants and volunteers.
Ensure that all sessions are delivered to the highest quality standards.
Ensure that all participants are registered and safe at all times.
Act as a positive role model at all times, assisting in the creation of a constructive and fun environment, encouraging the active participation and motivation of children and young people
Identify and promote further opportunities and pathways within a community and club setting for all young people on the programme.
