Salary: £9-£11 per hour depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly skilled Community Youth Worker to join a local dynamic and passionate charity that delivers high quality services assisting some of the most vulnerable people within our society.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with relevant professional experience within a youth engagement role, with a confident approach to delivering high quality services and activities. This role requires strong time management and prioritisation skills in order to be effective.
EPIC Partners is a well-established charity. We are a small team of specialists that possess a diverse set of skills, ranging from sports and creative arts programmes facilitation to Math's, English, ESOL and IT teaching. The successful candidate will be looking to grow with our organisation and become an inspirational figure for people and communities in Inner City Nottingham and able to demonstrate understanding of the importance of Safeguarding and Child Protection in this role. The candidate for the position will ideally: Understand the charity sector and reporting requirements, have a confident approach, and has excellent timekeeping, communication. and programme delivery routines. This is a part time sessional post to be determined by the service.
We are looking for a high achiever who has drive and ambition to progress in a forward-thinking organisation. You will either hold a relevant Youth Work Qualification or the nationally recognised JNC qualification and have a minimum of 2 years' experience of face-to-face work with young people. Epic's staff require the ability and enthusiasm to work with both small and large groups of young people. Epic Partners is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and Safeguarding qualification is required for this role. You will be able to drive and have access to own transport and carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the level of responsibility of the post.
